As you know, we were unable to run this summer due to COVID-19, however, despite this, God has been amazing this summer and has provided in ways that were unexpected and unseen. We were able to pay off the vender take back portion of the land purchase in full in July, one month before we were to start making payments. Leaving us with only the $75,000 interest free loan to pay back. God also provided so that we were able to refund those who requested their registration fee refunded.
Through the donations of time, prayer and finances we have been able to pay our bills on time and do some small maintenance projects, like painting the kitchen, keeping the grass cut, painting the outside of the Chalet, painting the Medical Centre porch floor, staining all the camper porches, enhanced the entrance to the guest washroom among many other things.
We are now asking if you would please pray for us as we enter the next phase of this journey. As a non-profit organization, Camp Cherith relies on generous donations over and above camper registrations. We are asking you to join us in prayer; pray for our ministry to campers continues to be effective in sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Pray for us as we will need continued financial support throughout the year; pray God continues to provide for Cherith.
