Hello,
In light of the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are writing today to let you know about the approach that Camp Cherith – Ontario is taking to keep our campers safe and healthy at camp.
At this time, Canadian public health authorities have assessed the risk associated with COVID-19 to those in Canada as low.
In order to ensure a safe experience for everyone at Camp Cherith – Ontario we are monitoring this issue carefully and will continue to do so. We will be in contact with our local public health unit, Grey- Bruce and we are working with the Ontario Camps Association to ensure we are following best practices. We will continue to look to both the experts in Public Health and the Ontario Camps Association guidance for the most up to date information.
Our well-established health-specific protocols under the guidance of our Board of Directors are in place to protect our campers and staff.
At this time, there are no changes necessary to any of our procedures as we prepare for the camp season ahead. Should any of this change, we will communicate this with you as early as possible.
